Leverage and liquidation

Up to 1000x, and exactly when a position gets liquidated.

Leverage goes from 1x to 1000x. Presets are 1x, 10x, 50x, 100x, 500x, 1000x, and you can type any value. The order panel labels risk as Safe, Aggressive, Wild or Degen.

When you get liquidated

A position is liquidated when its remaining value drops to 10% of its margin. You lose the whole margin of that position: the remaining 10% is kept as the liquidation fee. The liquidation price is shown before you open and in your positions table, and it's drawn on the chart as a dashed line.

Distance from entry to liquidation = (1 − 0.1) ÷ leverage.

How liquidation is checked

  • On every price update from Pyth (several times a second), open positions are checked against the highest and lowest price seen since the last check.
  • A brief spike through your liquidation price liquidates you even if the price comes back by the next update.
  • Liquidated positions appear as "Liquidated" in your trade history and count as closed trades.
1000x moves fast
At 1000x a move of about 0.09% against you liquidates the position. BTC can move that much in seconds.
